Mogale Sedibe

Mogale Sedibe stands out as a dynamic spoken word artist and a celebrated children’s author hailing from the vibrant heart of South Africa. His literary journey took flight with the successful launch of his debut poetry chapbook, 'His Thoughts,' a creative endeavor that saw the light of day thanks to a collaborative effort with Ink Sword Publishers and the esteemed Department of Arts and Culture of the Northern Cape. Expanding his horizons, in 2019, Sedibe ventured into the world of children's literature, publishing an enchanting picture book under the auspices of the Puku Foundation in Johannesburg.

Sedibe's commitment to cultural heritage has not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by his recognition as a finalist for the prestigious 2023 National Heritage Council Golden Shield Awards in the Young Heritage Activist category. His passion for storytelling continued to flourish with the release of a second children's literature picture storybook in 2021, brought to life in partnership with Cadbury Dairy Milk SA and Nal'ibali. Looking ahead, Sedibe is poised to captivate audiences once again with his upcoming 2024 sophomore poetry project, an album titled 'Moya Wa Mutwa,' promising to be yet another testament to his artistic prowess and cultural dedication.
