Bio

Eneritha Mufara known creatively as Ritah The Thought but prefers simply Ritah, is the creator of the brand The Thought working in Creative Arts and Events Management and Social/Community Development. She is a Poet, Media practitioner, curious Africanist and Spiritual and Mental Health activist.

She is the Founder of Thoughtful Tribe, an African based Society and Culture community of Creative Arts Based Projects aimed at shifting Society's thought patterns through Storytelling, Education, Events, Celebrations, Entertainment and Promotion of African Creative and Cultural Industries.
It presently has 3 (three) running initiatives:

AfriTru –Mandated to REPAfrica: Restore, Educate and Promote Africa through Academia, Media, Creative Arts, Events and Cultural Exchange.

The Ruby Pearl Project - A Psychosocial Support program for young adults through Expressionism and Spirituality.

The Thought Sessions - An Urban Culture Event and Platform promoting and nurturing African Artists and Performers in Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Literary Arts, Graphic Arts, Decorative Arts, Culinary Arts, Skating.

This work has prompted the creation of her business called Alkebulan Dynasty Marketplace, an events and marketing & sales platform for SMEs in Creative and Cultural industries. To date it has partnered with Visual Artists, Print Media, Graphic Art and Literary Artists to market, sell and promote Creative and Cultural brands, merchandise, work and craft.

She holds the Youth Development portfolio within G.R.A.C.E Foundation founded by Doris Mufara which deals with people from the street through engaging them and working towards eradicating them from the streets and reintegrate them into society.

She is also the Creator and Host of Talk Thoughts, a History and Anthropological Info Edutainment program on Africa and The World (Societal, anthropological, socio-economic, psychosocial and spiritual and History subjects.

She is a qualified Dj and Sound engineer, B.Mus. Ethnomusicology Student, a poetry writer which she occasionally turns into musical lyrics. She has recorded a few over time but believes she is much more a writer than a performer. She is working on her first anthology. She is a former radio personality (ZiFm 2015) Capital263 (KIRF podcast 2016) Y.O.U.R Radio Worldwide (online radio 2013-2015). She has participated in the Shoko Festival (2015, 2016), managed Dekaro Restaurant 2017-18, Yolk Festival 2019. She has planned, managed and hosted successful events from Creative Arts events to book launches.

She loves her daughter, sunflowers, food, wine and green nature.
