Call for applications: Indian Ocean Music Market 2022
The Indian Ocean Music Market (IOMMA) is calling on musicians to apply for the 2022 edition of the annual event on Reunion Island from 30 May to 2 June.
Interested artists should apply here before 28 January.
Rules and regulations
- The call for application aims exclusively at artists from the Indian ocean music market (the list of eligible countries is available on the online form).
- Groups or artists that were selected and took part in the 2021 edition are not eligible to apply for 2022.
- Only online registrations are valid. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Once applications are closed, IOMMA’s jury and selection committee will review all files and carry out a representative selection of artists.
- In the event of their selection for IOMMA 2022, artists may be asked exclusive rights for the performance in Reunion Island (applies for non-resident bands).
- Selected artist(s) will ensure their availability to attend IOMMA from 30 May to 2 June.
- According to budget possibilities, IOMMA will provide a minimum fee or compensation to selected bands. In the same way, Scènes Australes will be responsible (partially or totally) for air travel for non-resident artists.
- For each selected band, IOMMA will provide a professional pass for the whole event to one (1) person accompanying the band.
IOMMA will take care of the following expenses for selected artists:
Foreign bands/artists
- Accommodation.
- Local transfers.
- Per diem.
- Evening meal on the day of the performance.
- Passes for the duration of the event.
Local Reunion Island bands/artists
- Evening meal on the day of the performance.
- Passes for the duration of the event
Note: Air travel for members of Reunionese groups living abroad will not be supported by IOMMA.
