SA: Nasty C invites US rapper Domani on his Ivyson Army Tour
South Africa’s Nasty C has invited US hip hop artist Domani to join his Ivyson Army Tour in South Africa from 7 May to 4 June.
The tour will make stops in Bloemfontein (7 May), Durban (14 May), Cape Town (21 May), Pretoria (3 June) and Johannesburg (4 June).
The announcement follows the release of Nasty’s hit single ‘Can’t Imagine’, which reaffirms his place as one of the top rappers in the country. He will also be joined by local artists Cassper Nyovest, Case-Klowzed, Tellaman, Zoocci Coke Dope, Crowned Young, Audiomarc and DJ Kilamo, among others.
“I’m so excited to have Domani come all the way from Atlanta, US, to join me on the Ivyson Army Tour,” Nasty C said. “Having spent time with him and his father, rap O.G – T.I. during my visits in ATL. I’m really excited to transfer some of the energy we have in studio to a live on-stage performance.”
Nasty C has established himself in the music industry with previous international tours, including trips to the US where he developed relationships with Atlanta rappers T.I. and Domani. Both artists have worked with Nasty C on a number of songs: T.I. contributed to Nasty C’s singles ‘They Don’t’ and ‘All In’, while Domani collaborated with T.I. on the song ‘Friends’.
Domani said: “Over the years and after his visits to the US, we have built a really dope relationship with Nasty C. I can’t wait to visit him in his home country and to show off some of my music to fans in South Africa.”
