Win tickets to Bassline I AM LIVE concert in Joburg!
Music In Africa, in partnership with Bassline Fest, is giving away five (5) double tickets to the I AM LIVE concert at Constitution Hill in Johannesburg on 21 May.
Artists performing at the festival include Nakhane (South Africa), Sun-El Musician (South Africa), Bongeziwe Mabandla (South Africa), Aurus (Reunion) and Ms Party (South Africa).
I AM LIVE is part of Bassline’s From Lockdown to Live concert series. It will be the third instalment of the series, after Bassline held I AM HOME in May 2020 and I AM HERE in late 2021. It will also celebrate Africa Month.
How to enter
To stand a chance to win, name two artists who will perform at the Bassline I AM LIVE concert.
Submit your answer to competitions@musicinafrica.net with ‘Baseline I AM LIVE’ in the subject line of the email along with the following personal details:
- First name
- Last Name
- Phone number
- Country
- ID/passport number (this information will be kept confidential)
The competition runs from 16 May to 20 May at 12pm.
The winner will be contacted on Friday 20 May.

Competition rules
- The competition runs from 16 May to 20 May at 12pm.
- You can only enter the competition once; multiple entries will be disqualified.
- To be eligible you have to complete all the required fields. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
- Each winner will receive no more than two (2) tickets.
- The Music In Africa Foundation shall only offer the said tickets. Winners will have to provide their own transport to and from the event, arrange for their own accommodation and any other relevant expenses.
- For entrants outside of South Africa, this competition is only open to holders of a valid passport.
- Prizes are not transferable and are not negotiable.
- No prize shall be exchangeable for money.
- No employee or board member of the Music In Africa Foundation, members of their immediate family or employees of partner organisations may enter.
- If a winner is unable to take up a prize for any reason, or if the Music In Africa Foundation has not been able to contact the winner after making reasonable efforts, the Music In Africa Foundation reserves the right to award that prize (without notice to the first winner chosen) to an alternative winner, in which case the first winner chosen shall not be eligible for any share of the prize whatsoever. The Music In Africa Foundation shall not be liable in such eventuality.
- Automated entries, bulk entries or third-party entries will be disqualified.
- Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.
