Bio
Reba Reba is an alternative R&B/Jazz/Soul vocalist & songwriter from Johannesburg, South Africa. She believes that self-development is an essential part of life that helps enhance what is already on the inside and this is her main inspiration behind each and every song.
Her first release was a collaborative 4 track acoustic-based EP that focused on all aspects of love (the longing, the loss, the contentment and the appreciation of love) and has already seen her performing on large platforms such as "JR's Feel Good Live Sessions" sponsored by Amstel and "Tales from an African Lounge" - a live music show directed by award-winning South African director/actor, Thabo Rametsi. The EP is titled "Garden Music" and was produced by and co-written alongside Big Dreamz, friend and fellow musician.
Her latest release is a 4 track project titled "Awake" - a reflection piece about her journey through self & love.
"I'm super excited to be on this journey of discovering my capabilities and the limitless opportunities that are there for me to grab. Music is the master key that is unlocking so many other unimagined doors for me and I'm proving to myself everyday that I am indeed capable. The new AWAKE project has given me the opportunity to executive produce my first ever short-film - something I hadn't imagined myself doing to be honest. I cannot wait to see what other doors we'll unlock together on this path of endless discoveries."
