CHERRY is a versatile singer, songwriter and actress. Her energy, talent, and story-telling ability have made her a favorite within the Tanzania music scene. She rose to fame as a top ten finalist on the eleventh season of Tanzania’s popular Bongo Star Search Show due to her show-stopping performances. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Beyoncé, Tems, Lady Jaydee, and Rihanna, CHERRY has developed a unique sound that sets her apart from the crowd. Her music is a fusion of genres, blending elements of R&B, Soul, and Afrobeat to create a sound that is fresh and familiar.

CHERRY signed to BXTRA Records in November, 2022 and has since made her debut single "Ole" & film soundtrack EP debut in the romance drama titled “Love Transfusion”.
