Maimouna Dembélé

Maimouna Dembélé is a well-travelled Senegalese radio host, producer and consultant. She was raised between Senegal and the US and is a journalism graduate. Her career in radio began in 1996 in Mali at Kaïra FM. Back in Senegal, she worked at radio 7 Fm. Passionate about hip hop, Ms Dembélé created and hosted a hip hop show called Blister.

She also worked at the prominent Vibe Radio. She manages a communications agency, specialising in public relations, management and events. She just founded the Association HERS for women and girls empowerment through Arts. Dembélé also hosts a monthly TV show called Life Stories. It showcases the lifestyles of celebrities, the second season will start airing in February 2019.
