Harare International Conference Centre (HICC)
Bio
The Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) is Zimbabwe's best-known conferencing venue and is administered by the Rainbow Towers Group. It has gathered reputation as a result of hosting many local and international events. The gigantic conference centre is housed under the Rainbow Towers Hotels and is located adjacent to the Rainbow Towers Hotel.
It has hosted the following local and international events and these include: Joe Thomas’ 2008 show, the 2014 Harare International Carnival, Oliver Mtukudzi Greatest Hits Concert (2014), ZimPraise Live DVD Launch (2013), Zahara Musical Show (2013), African Telecommunication Conference (2014), The Sunday Mail National Bride of the Year Award (2014).
Its main auditorium has capacity of 4500 seats and rooms ranging from small intimate boardrooms to a gigantic auditorium. As such, the venue is the traditional centre for expos, business conference, commercial gatherings and state events which make use of both the gracious indoor and exterior space for displays.
The venue has some of the following features chief among them a 12 additional meeting rooms of various sizes, simultaneous interpretation facilities for up to 11 languages, fully-equipped press center with press galleries in the main auditorium, fully-equipped secretarial, VIP offices, business center, print and photocopying facilities.
