Bio
Jally Kebba Susso is a UK based kora player from Banjul, Gambia.
Forging a new trajectory of sound for the West African harp, Jally Kebba skilfully blends the traditional beats with morden sounds. Raised in a family of musicians, he began music at an early age under the guidance of his father Bully.
He honed his sound since 2002 when he relocated to UK. In 2007 he formed his band Manding Sabu. The band ran a highly acclaimed African music residency night at Passing Clouds for five years called Strings on Fire. As of 2018, he had two albums Banjul-London (2017) and Malaye Warr (2012).
