Aderinsola
Bio
Aderinsola (born 13 June 1990) is a singer, guitarist and composer from Lagos, Nigeria.
Her love for music began at the age of 14. She joined an inter-denominational church group where she was taught the rudiments and theory of music and theatre performance. Aderinsola pursued her music studies at Peter Kings School of Music. She also took graded examinations at Muson School of Music from in 2008. Aderinsola later obtained a National diploma in Banking and Finance and a degree in Business Management at the National Open University in Lagos, Nigeria.
Her music career started in 2015 when she recorded 'Jèunkokuu', a remix of Fela Kuti’s song. Aderinsola worked on Tony Allen's project titled 'Iwalewa'. This propelled her to work with Alliance De Francaise in Nigeria in hosting their music unplugged.
She has performed at music concerts and festivals in and outside Nigeria. Aderinsola has worked with notable artists like Tony Allen, Femi Kuti, Ego, Yinka Davies, Orlando Julius, Beautiful Nubia, Indie Arie and Wole Oni, among others.
Besides music, she is the CEO of a charity group called #Omo.
