Growing up under the rhythmic influence of traditional and local music in the heart of KwaZulu Natal, Mpumelelo Kubheka has always had a beat sounding in his heart. This beat became a mix of urban vibes once he moved to Soweto where his uncles were his next big influence.

Knowing that he would one day be creating his own sounds, In 2009, with basic equipment and sheer determination, Mpumelelo started teaching himself music production and released his first single in 2010 under the stage name of Mpumza Mdacsp. This and other tracks were released on AfrodesiaMP3 with two featuring on two international podcasts earning him his first taste of international recognition.

With a hunger to grow and no funding, Mpumelelo did not let his financial situation dictate the realisation of his dream. Working hard to learn and grow in the art of music production and deejaying, and believing in only using the best equipment, Mpumelelo took a break between 2010 and 2013 to build up his equipment and software. He saved and sacrificed to acquire his first set of professional music production software and equipment with which he continued to teach himself on and re-entered the music scene under the name MagneticK TeMpoz.

Leveraging off the melting pot of cultures in Johannesburg, Mpumelelo continues to compose, write and produce music across genres working with artists in and around South Africa. With his deep faith and unbridled passion, the music world can expect to be always captured by his offerings.
