Carol Mujokoro was born Carol Chivengwa in Goromonzi, Zimbabwe. She grew up in Chitungwiza. Her passion for music began at a tender age of six. She became a member of her ZAOGA FIF Praise and Worship Team at that young age.

At 16, she recorded her debut album ‘Mufudzi Wangu’. This was followed by three more albums namely ‘Ndinokudai Jesu’, ‘Vimba NaJehova’ and ‘Kutenda’. In 1996, she released her first solo album ‘Ropa RaJesu’. Seven more albums followed: ‘NdiMwari Baba’ (1999), ‘Jehovah Wakanaka’ (2001), ‘Ngatimunamate’ (2003), ‘Mufudzi Wakanaka’ (2004), ‘Nditungamirei’ (2006), ‘Kunamata Kungwara’ (2007) and ‘Champions’ (2011).

In 2008, she enrolled for the pastoral training at Africa Multination For Christ College (AMFCC) and completed the program in December 2010. After qualifying as a Pastor, she enrolled for a degree in Biblical Studies with Friends University and for a Master's Degree with Triune. She and her sisters formed a family band called The Blessed Sisters. The band was invited to minister at many church conferences and this prompted her to do even better.

In 2000, she won the Best Female Artist at the Tinotenda Siyabonga Annual Music Award (TSAMA). In 2003, she became the first Zimbabwean musician to record a music video in Israel titled ‘Carol Mujokoro In The Holy Land’.
