THIECKO is a Senegalese songwriter, composer, arranger and producer based in france.

THIECKO is a former keyboard player of Amandla, a famous reggae trio in Senegal. He surrounded himself with great Jamaican musicians like Robbie Shakespeare, Dean Frazer, Glen Dacosta and Bongo Herman.

He has shared the stage with Sophia Brown, Alpha Blondy, Groundaton, Jamaica All Stars, Protoje, Pierpoljak, Gérald de Palmas, Youssou Ndour, Baba Maal, Salif Keita and many others.

THIECKO has performed in France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Luxembourg, Turkey, the UK and Netherlands.

His 'Wise Man Said' video was awarded Best Reggae Music Video at the 2016 Akademia Music Awards in Los Angeles. His single 'Not in His Name' won the Best Reggae Song at the Afro Beat Music Award in Germany.
