Jay Ghartey

Jay Ghartey (real name Kweku Gyasi Gartey) is a Ghanaian singer and producer based in New York, in the U.S. Jay's passion for music began at the age of 10. This later saw him join a group called Chief G and The Tribe. The group is one of the pioneers of rap in Ghana.

In September 2010, he released his debut album called 'Shining Gold'. 'My Lady', a song that featured on his 'Shining Gold' album was on heavy rotation on Channel O. He is also the co-founder of a charity project called GH Brothers Youth Foundation.
