PRINSTON
Bio
The producer rapper straight out of Durban South Africa known by his fans as Prinston, is really an artist to be reckoned with lately. Having spent some time in the USA in Florida and experienced some international and local exposure, Prinston has built up enough momentum to take his music career to new heights with a constant grind from producing, to writing, rapping and singing his own hooks. After being playlisted on over 28 SA radio stations and Kemet FM in the UK, the success from his single CLOSER has opened many doors for him like performing alongside Cash Money Artist, Jay Sean and the independent release of his album BEDROOM DREAMS album which was available in stores nationwide in South Africa. Prinston was nominated for Best Mainstream Act of The Year for Malaysia's 2011 AFRICAN ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS. His music is a smooth blend of Hip Hop mixed with R&B vocals. With a string of hit singles under his belt like CLOSER, BAD BOY, WHAT THEY LIKE, JUICED UP, LOOKIN AT ME, INSTACELEBRITY, THIS COULD BE US it is only right to say that Prinston is Durban’s No1 Hustler. Prinston a true game changer, he made 100 (limited edition) copies of his independently released STREET DREAMS EP which at R500 per copy.
After the success of the R&B rap single "This Could Be Us", Prinston follows up with a banger this time around with "Number One Fan". The song already has been catching spins in the Durban club scene and on major radio stations. Prinston is pacing himself with building his brand and should soon be a name that you can trust. The single has a west coast vibe to it with a smooth chorus which makes you envision a strip club scene. A music video is in the talks but for now you can enjoy the audio.
Aside from owning his own management team and indie label Glayboy Music Group, Prinston also owns Durban’s coolest hip hop store and brand Fresh & Above.
Prinston is currently endorsed by American creative lifestyle brand – LRG, and as of late NEW ERA.
