Chadleigh Gowar

"Award winning, South African bassist Chadleigh Gowar was eleven years old when he picked up a guitar for the first time. He credits learning to play guitar and bass play by ear, in church, for honing his instinct to improvise and harmonise. Those skills have made him adept at playing both jazz and gospel, the genres he has been playing the most during his decade-long career."

Chadleigh is the current bass player for Kyknet's hit music program  called "Koortjies met Jonathan Rubain"

After a successful run of Season 1, 2 and a special Christmas edition "Kersfees en Koortjies" They're currently recording season 3, which started airing in April 2022.
