Intro To Dipa Konnection

Born in September 2018 at the Pawa 254 art hub in Nairobi, Kenya; Dipa Konnection, a collective of 5, continues to break barriers in the Kenyan music scene.

Bantra, their music genre and identity, is a unique blend of Urban & Traditional African Sounds, electronic beats, poetic wordplay, with Deep Instrumental Compositions. It spells Energy & Freedom!

This group of friends has developed a cult following due to their commitment to promoting the Love culture, "LAVINGI-LAVANGA", an everyday mantra, that means; Love that is-- Love that continues. The goal is to foster Self-Love and Self-Belief.

Dipa Konnection has performed at prestigious events and festivals, including Folk Fusion, Beneath the Baobabs, EU-Kenya Art Xchange, Jägermeister Night Embassy, Alliance Francaise, Pawa Festival, and the Nairobi City Marathon, to name a few! 

Having partnered with brands like; NightEmbassy Jägermeister, Kenyan Originals, Jipeapparels, Wildlife Works among others, this affirms the band's status as one of Kenya’s most marketable and electrifying talents!

- Sitonik "Ice" Taiyana (Lead Vocalist) 

- Eric "Gugz" Ngugi (Drummer - traditional drums, Maschine, and a Drum Pad)

- Patrick "Duli" Sigilai (Percussionist - Djembe, Shakers)

- Joash Masese (Saxophone)

- Msafiri Albert (Bassist)
