Eyuel Mengistu
Bio
Eyuel Mengistu is a highly talented composer, arranger, producer, instrumentalist, and music teacher. His expertise spans music research, composition, arrangement for notable artists, and work in musical theater productions.
He has recently composed and produced an international music album " Yedega Sew" that connects seven countries from three continents, including Ethiopia, Guinea Bissau, Portugal, Norway, Belgium, Netherlands, and the US.
Other notable works include "Qene New Hager" (songwriting), "Sew Atash Woy" (rearrangement), "Adwas" (music composition), and "Hamer" (author and composition). Eyuel's recent accomplishments include composing music for the international film "Doqa." His dedication to exploring indigenous and diverse world musical cultures is evident in his work. Currently serving as the head of Yared School of Music, Addis Ababa University, Eyuel continues to significantly impact the music industry with his exceptional talent and contributions.
