Flabie Loape
Bio
Flabie Loape is an African instrumentalist born and bred in Lesotho. Her songs mostly feature Uhadi/musical bow. Her music has a jazzy, native and relaxed feel.
She has made a theme song for a film called Li eme ka lekoa (A wish for my daughter) and six of her songs are also featured in that film. She was featured in a short film; Moshoeshoe strategy and leadership in celebration of the 200 years bicentennial. Moreover Flabie Loape is a Commonwealth Music Relay Leader for Lesotho. Lastly, her work has been published into a manuscript: Seho se llile Basotho by University of Freestate.
