Gravitti Band

Gravitti is reggae band based in Nairobi, Kenya. It was established in 2014 after the band members realized the market gap and the high demand for Reggae music which is the biggest genre in Kenya with a following spanning the whole country.
The band logo includes the saying ‘Following In The Footsteps Of
The Greatest.’ With this in mind, it is evident that Gravitti has been influenced, impacted and inspired by different reggae legends as well as other global legends. This is why the band always
incorporates cover songs of artists that continue to inspire them. The band has also done renditions of some of the music that is
celebrated by everyone.
The band has recorded over 33 songs since the period of its inception and will be launching the first album at the end of 2017. Gravitti’s music talks about day-to-day issues in the society and also acknowledges
the existence and superiority of God in all aspects of life. Gravitti has three singles/videos online for ‘Some Reggae,’ ‘Africa,’ and ‘Sweetie’, a rendition of John Holts ‘Sweetie Come Brush With Me’. The album includes collaborations from great musicians like Nameless and Wyre from Kenya, Tony Rankin from Thailand and a few more artists from around the world.
