Bio
Jaiksana (born Jaiksana Soro) is a South Sudanese activist, rapper, and songwriter.
He began his musical journey in 2021 with the release of his debut single 'Where is Home' off his first studio album I am Still Alive.
Beyond hoping to inspire positivity, Jaiksana's music is a platform and a vehicle for his stream-of-consciousness perspectives on life and subjects that he is passionate about such as mental health. He is better known for his activism and advocacy work. At the age of 19, he helped co-found the community development center (CDC) in South Sudan, a non-governmental organisation focused on strengthening local communities. He is currently the team leader of Platform Africa.
