KMRU

KMRU is a composer, DJ and prodcuer from Nairobi, Kenya.

He began producing music with his friends and signed to a German record Label acelled Black Lemon Records in September 2016.

This was followed with the release of his debut album Euphoria in 2017. KMRU was chosen to participate at the East African Soul Train, an artist residency project bringing East African creative together to collaborate around a train journey, with Jojo Abot as the director. This opened doors for collaborations prompting him to release his first collaborative Ep called EAST with Manch!ld.

KMRU has performed at clubs around Nairobi, at Nyegenyege Festival in Uganda and Bayimba Festival in Uganda.
