Manu Grace
Bio
Manu Grace is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from South Africa.
Although hesitant to commit to a genre, her music can most accurately be described as Sensitive Pop — unguarded and groovy; appealing to both heart and feet alike.
In 2019, Manu released her debut EP ‘June’ via Platoon — earning her a spot in Apple Music’s New Artist Spotlight and two SAMA (South African Music Awards) nominations for ‘Female Artist of the Year’ and ‘Best Alternative Music Album’.
2020 saw Grace release her sophomore EP — a series of 7 tracks written over the course of an eventful summer in Italy, and recorded in Platoon’s London Studios, Berlin and Cape Town, respectively — alongside Beatenberg’s Ross Dorkin & Robin Brink. The first single, ‘Two Weeks’ debuted on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show as his ‘World First’ selection.
