Bio
Caswell Masemola, known as MC Tlatsa, is a South African artist working with the mzonkonko sound, a mixture of hip hop, kwaito and (ama)piano.
He grew up in Ga-Mphahlele, then moved to Sekhukhune where he developed a passion for music by listening to hip hop artists like Eminem, Lil Wayne and Kxng Crooked. South African artists whom he listened to included Brickz, DJ Cleo and Papzito.
MC Tlatsa’s sound is heavily influenced by Makwa and Kwesta, particularly the track 'Spirit'.
