Michael is a published author, playwright and freelance writer with a deep passion for music, particularly jazz and traditional African genres.

So deep is his passion, it could be regarded as an addiction. Also an accomplished and professional editor and project manager, when not writing or at karate, you can find him walking a river trail in Cape Town, his adopted city, or at a live gig getting his music fix.
