Johannesburg-Based Rapper-Songwriter Mohalenyana Mogale best known as his stage name PROTOTYPE has an extraordinary way of cutting straight through to the core of his listeners’ emotions. It doesn’t matter how you look, where you're from, or what you listen to, he will catch your attention and keep it. Most recently he’s been hard at work on his mixtapes, where he collaborated with Street Carnivore and various producers. He has released two mixtapes “Drop Dead & Live” and “The Episode”. PROTOTYPE has been influenced by a lot of Soul and RnB names such as Jill Scott, Brenda fassie & Lauren Hill. In an attempt to produce the best music he’s ever made, PROTOTYPE says he experiments with different sounds and paints vivid pictures with his lyrics and as easy as it is to be biased of your own work, he truly believes in what he's been able to accomplish in the studio. Because of his passion for music PROTOTYPE Co-founded Grape Entertainment Record Label to help other upcoming artists achieve their goals.
