RoMeo Rapstar

Shema Romain, better known by his stage name RoMeo Rapstar, is a Rwandan artist, musician, and songwriter. He rose to fame in 2017 as part of the Conscious hip-hop group ‘Home Boys’ as three MCs. Following the success of their debut Mixtape ‘Urutonde Ntakuka’ each member continued as a solo artist.

In November 2022, RoMeo Rapstar released a joint album with Dr. Nganji, this was RoMeo Rapstar’s first solo album, marking a significant milestone in his musical journey. It featured some big collaborations such as Icenova, Slum Drip, B-Threy, Mistaek among others.

Currently, RoMeo is working on the ‘Umuzungu w’Igikara’ album which is scheduled to be released in the middle of 2024.
