Bio
Ssensamba, a versatile and celebrated Ugandan performing artist, songwriter, and producer, hails from the suburbs of Kireka. His musical journey began in 2008 alongside his producer, Nase Avataŕ, resulting in the creation of some of Uganda's most renowned songs, including Kagaali, Muli, Nzikiriza, and Ebeyi.
His notable performances include sharing the stage with internationally acclaimed acts at various festivals. In 2021, he opened for Sauti Sol at Nyegenyege, following previous appearances at World Music Day 2020 and Blankets and Wine in 2019. Ssensamba showcased his collaborative prowess when he teamed up with Skales, the eminent Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter.
A memorable highlight was his role as the opening act at Jazz Safari 2017 alongside American artist Ginuwine. Adding to his achievements, he collaborated with MR. SO.UG /THE MITH on the track "I GIVE HER LOVE," which earned the prestigious Song of the Year award at the MTN Hip Hop Awards Uganda in 2022.
