Zykes Magida

I'm a DJ/Music Producer, Song writer, Events Promoter, Music Publisher, Artist Manager, DJ/Music Facilitator, Mentor and Entrepreneur. I started being a DJ in 2007, Music production 2009 and started doing events in 2011. I opened my first company Zykes Entertainment as an Entertainment Agency and Zykes Magida Records as a Music/Record Label.

In 2015 I started a movement called The United Cultures, where in all events organized by my company and the ones we’re associated with, we feature artists from all provinces/States in my Country. 2016 I and a business associate opened a DJ Academy which produced more than thirty DJs, then in 2017 we merged the DJ Academy with a business partner to provide more such as Music production, Piano and Radio Lessons till to date, we also do educational music and Entertainment workshops and Forums.

In 2021 I was Nominated on 031 City Awards (Durban) for DJ of the Year and took 2nd place, in the same year I also ventured into the fashion industry where I designed and developed my own clothing merchandise named it after my stage name Zykes Magida, offering my fans and supporters the opportunity to connect with my brand beyond music. Then later made it an official clothing line with a slogan Different but Relevant and It offers different ranges from T-shirts, Golfers, Hats, Sweaters, Hoodies and Tracksuits.
One of my recent achievements is the release of a new hot single titled "Ukhomb'izinto Kum." This track showcases my creativity and musical talent, further establishing my presence in the industry.
