Sadi King

Originally from Burundi, Sadi was born in 1968 and started music in early 80s as a bass player. He also played the guitars, keyboards and featured on vocals. But the bass is his main instrument. He has played with most Burundi stars like the late Jean Christophe Matata, Africa Nova, Bahaga, Kidum, and practically all the bands in Bujumbura Burundi. He has a number of singles as a solo artist, but is working on a solo album set for ,launch in 2014. He has lived in Tanzania for a while before he came to Kenya in 1994.

In Nairobi he has played for Bikas Bijos's Saka Saka Band as a keyboard player. He has also played with Hot Rod Band as a bassist. This is where he met Kiddum and Mike Tawfiq. Next Sadi teamed up with Simon Amon to form Hot Sound band, where Sadi played the keyboard. Sadi then joined Kiddum and his Boda Boda Band. He plays the bass in Boda Boda. He has recorded as a studio artist with Ketebul Studio, Next Level Productions, RK's Mingi Love Studio and many more. He is also a producer, working from his own studio called Sadiking Studios located at Tena Estate, Nairobi, where he lives.
