*X-Mon: Music Producer, Songwriter, and Entrepreneur*
Musemo Kabikwa, known professionally as X-Mon, is a talented music producer, songwriter, and artist based in Gaborone, Botswana. With a passion for music ignited at a young age, X-Mon's influences include renowned artists such as Quincy Jones, DMX, Dr. Dre, Kanye West, and LL Cool J, Yo Maps, T Sean, KB, General Ozzy, Peterson, Macky 2.
X-Mon's music career began with performances at V Shows, including My African Dream. In the early 2000s, he collaborated with PMag, who introduced him to the production side of music. This partnership provided X-Mon with valuable studio experience, including the opportunity to witness Mapetla record his chart-topping single "Ahh".
After taking a break from music to pursue his studies and secure a stable income, X-Mon's passion for music production was reignited when his partner gifted him studio equipment on his birthday. With over 100 songs in his archives, X-Mon has worked with notable producers and artists, including Obvdo, FAT, Prez Beats, and Kheza Matofane.
X-Mon's breakthrough came in 2021 with the release of his radio single "Man on the Moon" featuring Toss, produced by Obvdo and mixed and mastered by FAT. The single topped the charts for several weeks, paving the way for subsequent successful releases, including "Closer," "Take," "Side Chick," and "Lavo" featuring Kheza Matofane and Sbaba.
As of June 2025, X-Mon was finalising his debut album, Spaced Out, set to be released this November. Fans can stay updated on his music through his social media channels and streaming platforms.
