Afedape Band

AFEDAPE Band is an exclusive all-female dynamic musical group formed in 2024 that does live performances of spoken word and music in multiple genres including urban, afropop, afrobeat, world music, among others. The band has 3 original single tracks and currently working on releasing an EP.

Some notable events include Afedape Live in Concert, International Women's Day 2025 performance at Alliance Francaise, Showcase Wednesday, Churchill Tv Show Performance, Hope TV Christmas special among other live events. has collaborated with artists such as MALé, a French musician, Koko Koseso who recently launched her album of world music and Nilotic Bliss who expresses the need for women to transform society through her music.

Afedape’s mission is to empower women in pivotal roles within the music industry, with a special emphasis on celebrating the cultural and artistic contributions of female instrumentalists across Africa as well as raise awareness through artivism.
