Aluta Optimistic

Bio

Aluta Optimistic is a partially blind black male creative from the Eastern Free State. He started the arts in 1998 attending a youth club doing dance, music, drama and poetry. Aluta Optimistic then went to study performing arts NQF level 4 in 2008 at Sibikwa Arts Center in Benoni Gauteng.

In 2010, he was featured in the film "Mrs Mandela" and Skorokoro in 2015. I co-founded Brown Coin Art Production in 2012 at North West province Vryburg and launched a branch in Qwaqwa the year 2013. He has also worked with the Sasol Grahamstown National Schools Arts Festival since 2013-2015 as a workshop facilitator and got training under the Assitej SA Theatre4Youth program in 2016. Founded a performing arts organization titled RFM ARTS ACADEMY in Qwaqwa 2017, and a branch in Thaba Nchu in 2018, another branch in Bloemfontein 2021.
