His sound blends Highlife, Afropop, Soul, and R&B, rooted in tradition and distinctly contemporary, driven by a quiet revolution in sound and storytelling.
Born Emmanuel Asiamah Mensah in Effiduase, in the Ashanti Region, Asiama was raised in a musically rich household shaped by gospel and choral harmonies. His artistry remains deeply rooted in heritage while distinctly forward-facing.

His background informs a captivating stage presence marked by choreographic precision and emotional rawness, allowing him to translate sound into feeling with striking clarity.
Mentored by Kwame Yeboah, the legendary Ghanaian multi-instrumentalist and musical director for Yusuf / Cat Stevens and Craig David, Asiama has developed a sound that is both technically refined and deeply resonant, and has been described as emotionally honest and musically rare.
His live performance journey includes appearances at the Global Citizen Festival, where he performed as a backing vocalist for Sarkodie, delivering a distinct vocal imprint.
