Bongani Blax Sotshononda

Bongani Blax Sotshononda is a marimba & vibraphone artist from South Africa. He has performed twice at the Cape Town Jazz International Festival and featured at the Standard Bank Jazz Festival in Makhanda. He has participated in many educational projects including the annual DCAS Percussion Camp and the International Marimba & Steelpan Festival. Bongani is also part of JAV which is a collaboration of musicians from Reunion Island, Madagascar and South Africa that has performed all over Europe and countries in the Indian Ocean. Bongani's Indigenous Orchestra project has performed at Artscape featuring artists such as Dave Reynolds (Paraguyuan harp, steelpans and 10 string guitar), Keketso Bolofo (African percussion) and Fancy Galada (vocals).
