Bio
Dr Jayy, the RebelDoctor as he is also known, is an independent artiste, music producer and songwriter.
He is also a trained Veterinary Doctor, a practising Diagnostic Pathologist and an award winning scholar. He works as a lecturer and researcher with the University of Nigeria, one of Nigeria's first and most prestigious universities.
Dr Jayy is an ardent youth education advocate. His brainchild, The LIP Foundation, offers free educational and career-path guidance to students in secondary and tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
Dr Jayy’s music has been a tool to reach out to thousands of youths, to inspire them to embrace education and a healthy lifestyle, through mentorship. He firmly believes in the role of a good education in personal and community development.
Dr Jayy's latest single, Let it Go, is a relatable song which underscores the feelings of hurt and confusion, when love goes sour. The song was written and produced by Dr Jayy.
