Based in Kigali, Rwanda, Family TV is a media institution owned by Rwandans. It is located in Centinary House in Kigali city. It originated from the Beat Program on RTV. The TV station mainly focuses on entertainment, business, and the Life of Rwandans on a day to day basis. Family TV plays a significant role in promoting Rwandan music. It started operating as a TV station in March 2014. Before its launch, it was live-streaming for two years via www.rwandafamily.tv.
