Grandpa Records has won a number of awards for the 'Best Record Label in East Africa e.g Wynton House of Music Awards,Golden Mic awards, Nyota awards among others. They have produced songs for both established and up coming artists and are the first label in the history of East Africa to make the first succesful come back of an artist, DNA.

They have worked with Wyre, Kidis, Jo-1, Mr Nice, Simple A, Esther Wahome, Kenrazy, Mejja, Visita, Nazizi, Sanaipei Tande, J.I, Mr Blue, Amileena, Ng'ang'alito, Prudence, K-denk, Masallah, Tl-moh, among others.
