Born and raised in Uganda living in Vancouver BC Canada , Hanson Baliruno's musical journey began at a young age in the church, where his vocal talents were quickly recognized. During his teenage years, he became popular in school, entertaining his peers with his passion for singing and performing. Hanson was always ready to burst into song whenever called upon, a testament to his love for music and performing arts.

Hanson's early success in gospel music groups and bands fueled his ambition for a broader, international career. In 2013, he took a major step toward realizing this dream by immigrating to Sweden. That same year, Hanson wrote two hit songs, "Love Letter" and "Follow Follow." His song "Follow Follow" gained international recognition, featuring the renowned Ghetto Kids from Uganda in the music video. This collaboration inspired global stars such as French Montana and Chris Brown to work with the Ghetto Kids, further cementing Hanson’s presence on the international stage.

As a rising Afro-pop and Afro-beat artist, Hanson has performed at festivals and concerts across Africa and Europe, including Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Austria, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Canada. His unique sound and dynamic performances have earned him multiple nominations in prestigious music awards, including the Scandinavian African Crown International Music Awards and the BAE Awards in Nigeria.

Hanson's career also led him to collaborate with prominent music industry figures such as Warner Music Sweden, Extensive Music Sweden AB, Selim Mouhoubi Productions (France), and Nigerian-European promoter Dominic Emene. His work with these industry professionals, along with his long-standing involvement with Warner Music Sweden’s A&R Mathias Wachtmeister and Mosquito Events' Thomas Gylling, has further bolstered his international reputation.
