IMBIZA came into being after the realization that the South African creative and entertainment industry needs a platform in the print media. The founder, Mr FM Dunjane, as a budding music entrepreneur, conducted research that resulted in the birth of this entertainment and lifestyle magazine. Its first edition was released in February 2014 and it was received well by the entertainment community.

Our objectives are to:
• create a print media platform for all role players in the creative and entertainment industry
• advertise and market all projects and products in the industry
• create an alternative platform for all role players
• educate role players and consumers about different sectors and aspects of the industry
• inform the public on arts and culture projects and happenings in different areas
• inform the public about different institutions related to the industry
• mobilize support for different sectors in the South African entertainment and creative industries
• encourage usage of original and traditional instruments and resources in the Industry
• document the origin of different entertainment genres and items in South Africa
