The Imbuto Foundation

The Imbuto Foundation to reflect its evolution and new fields of activity, through programmes in health, arts education, youth and economic empowerment. The organisation also runs an Innovation Accelerator – a mentorship-driven acceleration programme, supporting young entrepreneurs with seed funding, training and skills development to generate innovative solutions in response to challenges in various sectors. In 2020, it launched the Cultural and Creative Industry Recovery Plan grant launched in July last year to support enterprises in the cultural and creative industry and artists to recover from COVID-19.
The grant seeks to support initiatives from art enterprises and artists, promote free access to resources, facilities and training opportunities for artists and engage Rwandans to learn about, love and buy made-in-Rwanda art.
