The Isomers is a Nigerian indie folk band with a unique sound born out of a special blend of talent, passion and creativity.
Their music is a healthy dose of guitars and subtle nuances that creep up on you but leave every listener thoroughly entertained. With no one song sounding like the last, their simple, yet message-driven music has attracted a growing, enthusiastic audience in Nigeria.
Formed in 2012, The Isomers comprises Oluwaseun Daniel (lead vocalist), Isaac Isumanu (Vocalist, Acoustic Guitar), Motietru (electric guitar), and Monlee Mane (Vocalist, Percussions), Samuel Udoh (Piano) and Emmanuel (Drums). With a self-titled EP released in 2015, the band released its debut album 'Reac+ion' in 2018. The album is an impressive body of work that is both timely and set to push boundaries of alternative and rock genre in Nigeria and beyond.
In January, 2019 the band was featured in an article by Edwin Okolo for the New York Times. In 2019, the band released the ‘Chariots’ single.
