Jay Kenn
Bio
Jay Kenn (born Bright Owusu Agyeman on 1 May 1997) is a Ghanaian rapper, singer, producer and songwriter based in Accra.
The Obuasi-born artist's love and passion for music grew when he joined a church choir as a drummer. He then began working in small local studios where he nurtured his production skills.
"As for rap, it came naturally," he said in an interview with the Unleash GH TV show. Jay Kenn's lyrics are delivered mostly in English, pidgin, Twi and Ga. Although he can be described as a rapper, Jay Kenn also dabbles in various other genres such as Afro-dancehall. Such examples include 'Wind Am' and 'Save a Soul', the latter of which is a gospel hip hop composition.
Jay Kenn has a released 'The Long Journey' mixtape and the 'Thursday Remixes' EP. He is currently signed to Creative Oasis Media and is working on upcoming projects.
