Keturah

Keturah is an Afro-jazz musician from Malawi.

She came onto the local scene these past years with her powerful stage performances at Mibawa Festival, Grittah’s Camp and other venues around the country. Her authentically African sound and bold, beautiful voice, have music lovers in the country excited about her musical journey.

Keturah started learning music at the age of nine, from her uncle, a virtuoso traveling guitarist and troubadour, with whom she would sing harmonies as they wondered from village to village entertaining the people. Now an adult, she is intent on carrying on his legacy by bringing the Ancient sounds of Malawi to modern audiences.
