Bio
Ahlam Ismail aka Lamu is a Ugandan Afro-pop musician based in Kampala. She sings in Swahili, English and Luganda.In 2018, she was picked by Nigerian artist and label executive Mr Eazi as one of the 100 up-and-coming artists from across Africa to represent Uganda in his Empawa Africa programme. The following year, she released her debut single ‘Something About You’. In June 2021, she released her debut EP No Pressure. Aside from music, she is a youth coordinator who continuously partners with various organisations.
