Bio
Manana Ratsoma, professionally known as Manana Highness, was born on 17 June 1987, in Klerksdorp, North West Province. Raised in a devout Christian family, with her father serving as a reverend for a church denomination, Manana's upbringing has profoundly shaped her personality and artistic vision.
Due to her family's frequent relocations throughout her childhood, Manana was exposed to diverse cultures and lifestyles, which significantly influenced her musical tastes and style. This eclectic background has made her a unique reflection of her varied experiences.
A self-taught singer, songwriter, and performer, Manana further honed her craft by attending the Ochrim School of Music. Her versatility extends beyond music, as she has also made a name for herself in the reality TV sphere.
Manana has appeared on several prominent reality TV shows, including "Mina Nawe House" (Season 1) on Moja Love, "2 Families and a Wedding Dress" on BET, "Mom vs Makoti" on Honey TV, and "Shayibodwe" on SABC 1. Her choreography skills were showcased at the 2014 CAF opening ceremony in Polokwane, Limpopo.
Recently, Manana was nominated for the 2023 Basadi in Music Awards as Best Dance Artist of the Year, a testament to her talent and dedication to her craft.
