Monica Kemoli-Savanne

Monica Kemoli-Savanne is a passionate advocate of East Africa's diverse and vibrant music scene.

She began her career by establishing TANGAZA Magazine, a multimedia digital platform dedicated to highlighting the music and culture of East African new wave creatives.

She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Recorded and Allied Entertainment Industries from Syracuse UniversityAnd is currently pursuing an MA in Music Business Management from the University of Westminster.

As artist and label partnership's manager for East Africa at Spotify, her role is to foster relationships with the artists, artist managers and labels while supporting them on Spotify's tools, resources and programs aimed at artist development and monetisation.
