Naledi Chai

Naledi Chai is a multi disciplinary artist from South Africa.

She is also the co-founder of a research, archiving and events collective called The Fly Machine Sessions. The primary aim of the organisation is to collect and archive African and indigenous sound creations for the purposes of building an analogue and digital library for educational and reference purposes, as well as to collaborate with musicians, artists and filmmakers around the world who may need to source music for their scores and projects from our library.

The organisation seeks to expand its outlook and approach by hosting events that serve as an exchange space between collectors, musicians, producers and archivists alike. within the collective, are DJ's, producers, sound designers, writers and vocalists.
