Bio
Chamberlain Olisa aka Oxlaid, is a Nigerian based songwriter and singer born in Lagos, who hails from Nnokwa in Idemili South LGA of Anambra State.
As an enterprising child, he developed a passion for music at an early age of 12 and Started practicing music at the age of 17. He embarked on his music career in 2014 when he got admitted into the university where he discovered a niche in music. He teamed up with his cousin “Kennycee” as duo singers making couple of hits and has featured in different shows on campus and in the city of Awka.
Oxlaid and his cousin brother formed a group by name “Prodigyz” And they produced two singles, “Limbo” (2015) and “TGIF” (2015). Later on they both decided to disband the group to pursue their separate ambitions.
He went solo 2 years later to pursue his music career with his debut single “I talk am” released on 13th August 2016 which gained him recognition and brought him to limelight.
A year later he came up with another hit song “Crazy” released on 23rd March 2017 which made waves peculiar to upcoming stars aspiring to promote their brand in the Music Industry.
In 2016, Oxlaid was featured by K Dope in his track “Control”.
He currently has no strong public affiliation with any other artist.
